GAZA EMERGENCY
EMERGENCY FUND - PREMIERE URGENCE INTERNATIONALE
Since Saturday, October 7th, Gaza has been under heavy bombings, resulting in more than 9 061 deaths to date, including 3 760 children, and over 32 000 injured. More than one million people have been displaced in the Gaza Strip, with no way out, subjected to a "total blockade" that deprives them of access to water, food and electricity.
In view of this catastrophic situation, Première Urgence Internationale has repeatedly called on all parties to respect the International Humanitarian Law and to establish a humanitarian corridor. At the Rafah border crossing point, our teams are operational, providing medicines, food, clean water and emergency shelters to families trapped in Gaza.
